‘Live Edit’ Session

A ‘Live Edit’ session is a night where we use the RAW file from a member’s photo, preferably those submitted in a previous competition, to allow another member to edit that image in real time.

The idea is to see:

  1. How someone else would approach editing your image
  2. How to take into account and apply changes based on judge’s comments (if applicable).

The night is a fun one and can offer not only insight into how other people may interpret a photo, but see if the Judge’s comments were worthwhile.

Sending through an image to use for the ‘Live Edit’ session

It’s important that you send through the RAW file for this. Here are the steps.

1) Send an email to vicepresident@essendoncameraclub.org.au with the following information.

  • The name you gave the photo for the monthly comp and which month you entered it
  • The judge’s comments (optional)

2) Send the RAW file via wetransfer. A guide to the wetransfer process can be found here:
