Introduction to Photography Course
Essendon Camera Club, in association with the Photography Studies College, are proud to present :
INTRODUCTION TO PHOTOGRAPGHY 2024 ~ 6 Week Course
This course covers the fundamentals of using a digital camera, moving beyond the ‘Auto’ mode and into more creative areas. Ideally suited to new photographers, or those wishing to gain further control over their photography, this course lays some important foundational principles within which to build your skills.
Your course fee covers 6 weeks of focused classes, all resources and course material, along with one full year of club membership ($65 value). We have inspiring presentations, outings and learning activities form part of our syllabus, creating opportunities for the continued development of your photography.

COURSE DATES
The course is a 6 week course running on Thursday evenings commencing March 7th through to April 11, 2024
Start time is 7:30pm and finishes at 9:30pm

COURSE PRICING
The cost of the course is :
$235.00 ( $199.00 for Concession* )
The course fee also includes remaining year membership to the Essendon Camera Club,
a $65.00 value.
* concession is available to anyone with a Health Care Card, Pension Card or Student Concession Card
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
There are total of 20 places on our course. During the course however, participants will be assigned to smaller groups of 5 each with it’s own mentor.
NECESSARY EQUIPMENT:
- A Digital Camera capable of being used in Manual Mode. Digital SLR or Mirrorless with changeable lenses preferred.
- Your camera manual. If you don’t have a physical copy, please download one and have it available during the course on your mobile phone or tablet or in a way that it will be easily accessible.
