Essendon Camera Club, October 27, 2025 — The stage is set! Tonight, the Essendon Camera Club rooms will be electric as we host the much-anticipated interclub competition against our friends and rivals, the Southern Suburbs Photographic Club (SSPC).

For weeks, both clubs have been buzzing. Our selectors have faced the unenviable task of culling hundreds of exceptional images to choose the final line-up. Every digital entry and matted print submitted represents hours of dedication, creative vision, and technical mastery.

A Community Clash of Creativity

This annual showdown isn’t just about the points; it’s a vital convergence of Victoria’s photographic community. We’re eager to see the breadth of work SSPC will bring, known for their strong emphasis on diverse genres and superb print quality. Will their portraits dazzle, or will their landscapes dominate?

Likewise, we’re ready to showcase Essendon’s strongest work, spanning everything from gritty street photography and stunning abstracts to powerful wildlife images. The real excitement lies in seeing how the two club styles clash and complement one another on the projection screen and display table.
